On this journey of life, I  have been through many trials and tribulations. Currently, I am a Professional Firefighter in Hillside, NJ. I was originally born and raised in the mean streets of Jersey City, NJ. The streets of Jersey City provided me with knowledge that no teacher or any book could teach. (Street knowledge)

I used basketball as a way to keep me focused and grounded. However, no matter how hard I tried, trouble was always right there. My book describes my life from childhood through my years playing high school basketball for a Hall of Fame coach, who expected nothing less than perfection. I speak about my group of friends and the things we encountered during our lives that would either break us or make us. I hope you are able to get a better understanding of who I was, what I've been through and why I am the person I am today. ENJOY!
